This Wardling once used his stealth to rescue a baby monkey from a poacher by sneaking it from the poacher's wagon and reuniting it with its mother. After the monkey grew, they reunited and discovered other Wardlings by secretly following the older children. Now it's their turn.

Wardlings was created with younger RPG players and their families in mind. The fledgling adventurers of these painted miniatures have a magical ability to see their animal companions, a trait of which only children are capable. Each adventurer will come pre-painted, fully assembled and packaged with their designated companion, who will assist them through thick and thin.

Painted plastic figures.

One of players has had a Monkey pet for about eight years now. I finally have a miniature to put on the board now! Oh, and the Boy Rogue miniature could be useful as well I suppose.

Just buy it for the Monkey

Personally, I think the mask makes the boy look odd like he was going to a masquerade, but the monkey is great! One of my players has a pet monkey so this will be the miniature.

As with all Wardling minis, this is meant to portray a junior adventurer. The flavor text on the box makes it seem as though the Wardlings are pre-adolescents, and seem proportioned as such, but in terms of scale they're all about the same size as an adult from the other WizKids line(s). This one is a well-sculpted rogue, armed with a crossbow, and the dagger-wielding monkey is a nice (somewhat creepy) addition.
