Pansarvärnspjästerrängbil 1111 (Pvpjtgb, armoured defence patrol car) was built by Volvo to suit the requirements of the Swedish army for a new all-terrain light utility vehicle. The resulting vehicle was the Volvo C303 the successor to the successful Volvo 903 Laplander, popularly known as "The Puppy". The original 903 beat out contenders from Willys, Land-Rover and Porsche, and became a long-serving member of the Swedish army.
