Warlord Games: Mouldline Remover

I'd never used a Mouldline Remover before. However, a recent miniatures order included a number of white metal miniatures with an excessive amount of flash. In the past, I always used an X-acto knife to remove moldlines. The Mouldline remover worked very well, scraping off mouldines. The 'blade' is much sturdier than an X-acto knife blade, allowing me to remove thicker flash that in the past I would have used a dremel tool to remove. This was a good investment and now has a permanent place in my miniatures tools.

It's a mouldline remover, it does its job. What it isn't, is an overpriced tool sold from a company that over charges for every little thing, that can be bought for 30-70% less elsewhere. I'm sure most know who I;m referring to, but it rhymes with Fames Twerkstop

This tool worked well for detailed work that was previously completed with an x-atco knife. Comfortable to hold and does the job!

About as useful as an Exacto knife. Less likely to damage the plastic and definitely has better reach. Happy to have it.

Always used the back of my knife of some sanding sticks. Wanted to try an actual mold line tool just because. Feels well balanced and don’t see an accidental slip of gashing up a model with this tool. So far I’m happy but I still use my knife mainly.

This is the best mold line remover! I like the handle a lot more than the Citadel version. This reminds me a lot of the harder to find Micro-Mark and Vallejo mold line removers. These are getting harder to find so if you’re thinking about trying it out I definitely recommend you do!

Beats cutting myself with an exacto knife constantly. Cheap to boot!

I normally remove mold lines with the back side of my hobby knife, but using this has no sharp side to deal with and has actually made it a lot easier and faster to do because of it. the blade is thinker and stronger as well, so it doesn't bend and I don't have to worry about possibly bending or breaking the blade. This will definately be something I use on every model build from now on.
