Originally built as a 118-gun ship-of-the-line in La Habana, The Nuestra Señora de la Santísima Trinidad was soon converted, with her armament increased first to 130 guns, then to 136 and finally to 140 guns and four decks. This resulted in her being relativel yunwieldy and slow, yet she truly was a giant of the seas and a terrifying sight for her enemies.
