In total, the Speedpaint Mega Set 2.0 features 46 colours, 3 metallics, and 1 Speedpaint Medium - a total of 50 bottles - enabling you to paint beautiful tabletop-quality miniatures in no time! These paints are cool
I've only used a few of these speed paints so far, but they are cool. They really do seem to basecoat, wash, and highlight in one step. Not parade quality ready, but army quality. And that's fine. I think they are going to speed up my painting quite a bit.

2.0 was a victory!!
This is a significant increase in quality over the original set. Who knew a company could listen to its consumers and make amazing changes that were requested!!! Only warning...be careful with the ball getting stuck and you exploding paint everywhere!!!

These paints have changed my whole perspective on painting minis. So easy to use and the results are fantastic.

Gotta go fast
I really wanted to love these paints, but I struggle getting them to behave as I'd like. Granted I'm somewhat new at painting. I've used citadel both contrast and regular paints as well as cheap hobby paint. My selection was pretty limited on colors, so that's why I went for these paints. Pros: Color variety is great. Paints do a good job contrasting on detailed miniatures and pooling up in recesses. Extra brush was nice Cons: I found that the paint dries too quickly, this causes blotchyness on larger surfaces. This might be due to me not being experienced enough with painting. I feel like I either need to use more paint so it doesn't dry out as quickly or paint a lot faster. Because I tend to shake a lot going fast is really not doable for me. My wife is able to make beautiful paint jobs with this paint, but it isn't for me. I think I'll stick with normal paints.

These are all the best things about Speed Paint v1 without the reactivation issue. All in all, I love them and the colors are fantastic. They go on easily and look great for tabletop play; then if you want to come back and highlight or wash the models you can without having to worry about varnishing the model. Again, great product that makes painting minis fast and easy.
