It's 43,000 BC in Ice Age Europe. You are one of three species: Archaic, Neanderthal, or Cro-Magnon. Assign your males ot hunt Pleistocene megafauna while avoiding predators. Assign women to gather or teach children new words. Specialize elders for fire, inventions, or animal domestication. Choose promiscuous, harem, or pair bonding mating systems.

There’s a big game in a small box! The theme is good and the components are great quality. The game plays great solo. There’s a lot of rules to learn, but once you get going it plays very well.

Hard game but fun
If you want a solitaire game that is a challenge, try this one. Each turn you are either scraping by and trying to survive or slowly building your people up. It is a hard climb to the top of the food chain and the game give you a respect of what people had to endure. The rules are good and a bit tough to master, but the payoff is that it makes a more challenging game.
