too many cards, not enough space!!
Villagers has interesting, accessible mechanisms and a charming aesthetic. I wanted to like this game, but it's hard to forgive how much table space this game takes up. Most cards are played into production chains which are essentially little pyramids of cards. It's a neat idea, but the chains quickly balloon in size which makes it difficult to find room for new cards, and difficult to reach across the table without accidentally messing up all your chains. A fun game to play digitally, but far too inconvenient to suggest in real life.

Amazing game for slightly older willing to learn group
I received the game fairly quickly and wrapped/packaged amazing. The game was super fun I was able to teach my mom and myself in 30ish minutes reading the manual. We played a whole game in like 1 - 3 hours, for first timers I thought we did good. The game has a little bit of punching out tiles/pieces and quite a bit of cards but the manual explains everything well and shows amazing illustrations to explain how everything goes. Recommend this game for willing learners 10/10
