Rampart Modular Terrain: Wolverine Tank

I own 5 of Wolverine Tanks from Archon Studios/Rampart Games and they are great. They come on sprues, the instructions are available online and are helpful (tank tracks can be a bit tricky) and they assemble simply enough. Having painted 3 of them so far there's a good amount of datil, there are bits that can be left off to create different looks and the turret and top can be left off for painting access of the tranport and cockpit areas. The back hatch opens and closed snugly, if you don't glue it and does not need a magnet to hold it closed. These are some of the best vehicle kits I've put todather outside of Mantic's hard-plastic vehicles in the warpath universe. Highly reccomend for Mantic's Firefight or as a proxy in any other game system.

This kit was good! No real errors in the molding and easy to clean. The instructions left a bit to be desired, deliniating which sprue each part was on with a color, which was only keyed on the first page of the PDF. Its only 5 sprues, so easy enough to remember, but I did have to scroll up a couple times. Also, the design of the treads makes glue up a bit easier said than done, but it all works. In terms of dimensions, it is the size of a Rogal Dorn, has a hatch like a Chimera, and looks most like a Leman Russ. It is the do it all tank proxy for guard, which I am all about!

This is a great little budget tank that gets the job done. It has some accessories like shovels and extra repair track that you can attach on the sides, but no alternate weapon options. It is roughly the size of a certain competitor's light tank, so if you want to play with other 28-32 mm scale armies, you are in luck. Please be aware though, that it does not come with any instructions. you have to either scan the QR code or go to their website and download them yourself. Unlike the instructions though, I would recommend putting the whole main body of the tank together first, and then put on the tank treads. One positive thing they do have over other instructions is that they are color coded by sprue 1-5, so you can find the parts that you are looking for much faster and easier. The inside detail is also very fun and detailed. The whole back of the tank can also open and close if you want to take advantage of that. It is not the best tank by far, but at ¼ the cost of most other tanks, this is well worth it.
