While chasing some enemy, four heroes get trapped in a mysterious dungeon, a magical entity called "Arena." Such entity poses a challenge to the party: Select a champion to claim the right to escape from it. There is no alternative: you must face this mighty challenge, and only one could get away.

Pathfinder Arena is a board game for 1-4 players set in the Pathfinder RPG's fantasy fiction "Age of Lost Omens" setting. Claim glory points by defeating monsters or unleashing their wrath on other players. Players can constantly modify the Arena by pushing and rotating tiles to reach unexplored areas or trigger a monster's attack against other heroes.

Each hero has asymmetric abilities and a tailor-made deck form which to draft items and abilities. Heroes level up during the game by picking up tokens in the Arena to enhance their abilities and access their deck. The cards' drafting and the choice of which ability to prioritize can develop different strategies in the Arena and make each hero unique.
