Flags of all colors dance in the wind as Navirians converge to Trawl for the long-awaited Banner Festival. You are an up-and-coming merchant trying to generate the most profits for your trading house. Sell goods on the docks, befriend the right suppliers, and make your bets at the watercraft race - opportunities abound in the floating market, but only the keenest trader will prevail!
• Simultaneous Play - Each turn, aim to play the highest, mid, or lowest Merchandise card to unlock different actions.
• Squishy Fruit - Grab the most before each Feats to make extra profit!
• Watercraft Races - Earn more riches by making laps. Well-timed Stunts will gain you bonus Fruit.
• Banner Majorities - Profits are split each round based on who placed the most Banners per Region.
All set in the glorious world of Tidal Blades created by Mr. Cuddington.

Not your average trick taking game
This is a trick taking game. I like it a lot more than most trick taking game because there are other strategies and components to it. Very fun and easy to learn.

A fantastic blend of mechanics complimented by beautiful artwork.
Choose your merchant guild and compete to collect the most profit in the Banner Festival! There are many paths to victory, and the game rewards smart play and the ability to read your opponent's intention. Tidal Blades: Banner Festival blends simultaneous reveal, area majority/control, and hand management fantastically. The simultaneous reveal gameplay makes the game work excellently at all player counts. And finally, the art and board are beautiful, and the quality of the components is fantastic! Squishy fruit pieces, wooden tokens, and little jet-ski meeples. I love it; highly recommend Tidal Blades: Banner Festival!

Nice game pretty art.
This is a nice trick taking (sort of) game. Try to guess the motives of your opponents to select the card to play that will accomplish what you need to do on that turn. The art and symbology art bright and helpful.

Fixes Broken Trick Taking Games
Normally not a huge fan of trick taking games. It is too easy to end up with a shoddy hand and have to bluff your way thru the whole game. Banner Festival fixes that by giving multiple ways to win by intentionally winning or losing (or staying out of the way of) taking tricks. With so many avenues to win, winning every trick comes comes second to finding a fun and strategic way to play your cards. Rules are easy to pick up on. It does take a round or two to figure out strategies, but after that everything snaps along quickly. Definitely recommend to any family and light-middle weight gamers out there. Can't go wrong with the gorgeous artwork as well

Perfect for my house
My wife likes games but isn't the biggest gamer. This game is simple enough that we have played around 5 games in the week we've had it. We like trick-taking games and this one feels like you always have a chance to increase. Its also fun trying to lose sometimes (or be in the middle) as it makes things more interesting and varied. The art is also gorgeous.
