We know what'll happen - when a player uses a pourtal, they'll have the option to flip this coin for either a reward - or a punishment. Get either +1 Loot Card or -5 HP. Is it worth the risk?

The Coin of Magic Pourtals adds a fun new mechanic to the game that's 100% optional and 100% awesome! Clinging on to life is something you'll need to get used to while brawling in the Barcadian dungeons, so why not take this coin with you?! It may just be the extra oomph you need, or that final blow that sends you back to the starting point.
