The animals want to show how good they are at making tall pyramids! Players must be steady and precise. Who will position the penguin on top of the crocodile, the sheep on top of the penguin, the serpent on the sheep? Attack of the Stack-imals!!!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Clearly intended to be a children's game, Animal Upon Animal (or Stack-imals as it is called in my household), makes an appearance every game night - regardless of the ages of those playing. True, my two and six year old love it, but so do my adult friends. The game is beyond simple, roll a die, stack the animal, rinse and repeat. But there is something so sensationally satisfying in building a wooden tower of animal bodies only to see them crashing down. I find it crazy that my son can just casually toss his animal on top the pyramid without issue but I can spend a solid two minutes carefully setting my animal atop only to have it come crashing down. When I was a child, we played a lot of Jenga. Now that I am an adult, I play a lot of Stack-imals. As do my children.

Great game that my kids absolutely adore

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I will say that when I first bought this game I was expecting to play it right away with my kids. I came to the conclusion that this game is for kids, but be aware that this game is tough and kids that are too young may find it frustrating. Haba is known for rock solid games with quality components. My son could take it or leave it at his age, but he still really enjoys just playing around and stacking the animals just for fun.

Fantastic game for young and old gamers alike!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

HABA games are known for their high quality design and construction and this one is a great example. Fantastic wooden animal pieces are great for the dexterity game play as well as just to look at and play with outside of the game itself. The gameplay is quick and has simple rules for kids to learn. Despite its simplicity it is a blast even for us adults to play as well. Highly recommended!

Famous stacking game for kids

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

If you have little kids, you can't go wrong with Animal Upon Animal. Rolling the dice and stacking animals on top of the crocodile (or next to it) is a lot of fun and even the youngest kids enjoy it. The wooden animals are really cute and they are a perfect child for a child's tiny hand to hold and play with. What's best is that even parents can enjoy this game!
