Strangely thematic

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Mysterium meets Mastermind meets possible hidden traitor. Fun deduction game with the threat of a traitor. Really nice theme pairing. Good production. Plays well at 2.

Challenging and thematic.

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Like Prospero Hall’s other titles based on classic films, Rear Window is more than a theme tacked on to an unrelated mechanic. This game is seriously thematic. The director must gives clues to all other players who cooperate to gues which window shows which character and what they do. There are variations in the choices to ale it more challenging, but the basic materials are still pretty tough. If there is a murder, all bets are off the director is trying to fool everyone, unknown to them. It is tough sometimes, as the cards have multiple themes on each card and they are randomly drawn, so the director must make the best of them. Reminiscent of Mysterium and other games in the category, fans of the film will enjoy the effective use adaptation of the idea. A good game with great graphics. Recommended for fans of cooperative mystery games.
