Phase II clone trooper armor reflected one of the Republic's greatest technological successes and included advanced tactical gear that further augmented the clone troopers' individual strengths. Additionally, the clones wearing this armor were themselves better trained and more experienced than those first deployed at the start of the war.
Within the Phase II Clone Troopers Unit Expansion, you'll find everything you need to deploy an elite corps unit of Phase II Clone Troopers, including seven Phase II Clone Trooper miniatures featuring a variety of customization options. First, the unit's leader can be assembled with or without his helmet. Similarly, a Z-6 Phase II Trooper can be built with or without his helmet or, if you choose, he can carry his signature Z-6 Rotary Blaster or the standard DC-15A Blaster Rifle. Finally, a Phase II Mortar Trooper can lug his mortar into battle stowed on his back or appear with the mortar fully deployed.

Title says it all, this is one of those absolutely essential sets for Star Wars Legion, the Phase 2 Clone poses and sculpts are some of the best in the game and are an absolute blast to assemble and hobby!

Good Variety
It’s nice not having to worry about getting bored of painting the same unit one hundred times. This set has some variety for the Phase 2 Clones. Helmet options, no-helmet options, a definite step up compared to the Droids. A minor gripe would be that the Z-6 phase 2 Clone can be assembled with a DC-15A but there’s really no point in doing that unless you are absolutely certain you’ll never use the Z-6 rotary cannon. Still seems like an oversight.

Better than Phase 1s in a couple of ways
Comparing Phase 1 to Phase 2 clones clearly puts the latter above the former. In-game, phase 2 clones have increased stats & abilities for just 10 base points. For the hobby, these clones use the newer plastics that can be assembled using plastic cement rather than forcing the use of superglue and tend to have fewer moulding issues.

Expansion
Great price for an expansion and they look awesome, starting to drowned in plastic but it’s a stress relief assembling and painting.
