A new campaign with sixteen brand-new missions explores every level of the city-covered world, from the glistening halls of power to the grimy streets of the underworld. Three new heroes join the Rebellion to search for an ancient artifact, aided by the presence of Ahsoka Tano. The Emperor himself leads his troops in an effort to thwart the Rebels and claim the artifact as his own. But the Emperor is not the Rebels' only competition. Any face in the crowd might hide the true identity of the deadly Clawdite Shapeshifter, working in the employ of the former Sith, Maul!
Expand your skirmish battles with the massive AT-DP, baton-wielding Riot Troopers, and twin-gunned Sentry Droids along with the new command cards adn scenario maps included in Heart of the Empire! New energy shields and rubble tokens will throw a wrench in your opponent's plans, while new power tokens give you more control over your fate than ever before!

Awesome addition to an already awesome game
Love playing new missions and settings with the core game. Got this on discount and didn't dissapoint.

Imperial Assault is still alive and we are here for it!
One of my favorite games ever and was able to get it for less! Such a great game with great art and great miniatures! Highly recommend!

It’s what you expect- and it’s good
A fun big box with some cool characters. (Love the demolitions Wookiee) - the location tiles look great too. Missions are solid.

Some of the most interesting minis in the game!
I love the variety here; an alternate walker that you can’t find in any ither game, root stormtroopers, and a wookie hero with a completely different look than any others. It’s worth the price just for the minis, even if you don’t play Imperial Assault.

More Variety
I pretty much just do solo stuff on Fantasy Flight's companion app (I hear there's a fan-made app I want to try out as well). Anyway, on the app, the more stuff you own the more variety you get when you play/replay missions. New characters with each expansion add up to tons of replay options even if the story remains the same.

More for the pile.
Heart of the Empire adds more for the Imperial Assault collector. Another skirmish, more player characters, and of course more for the Empire player. If you have an Imperial Assault collection, how could this not be in there?

Completing my collection
I have been a fan of Imperial Assault since it came out. My gaming group took a 2 year hiatus from the game, but we are back to playing IA during our regular game nights. Heart of the Empire will be the campaign we tackle first in 2024. I love the setting - the city-planet of Coruscant - and am excited to see how this story plays out.

Great Expansion!
Taking players deep into Imperial space, this expansion gives a welcome change of tone to Imperial Assault. Trading stark bases and deep woods for glowing streets and back alleys, this expansion is the best.

The figures may be small but the foreheads and XXXXL. You need all that forehead to defeat the Emperor!
