Adorable Abberation
While not the most complex mini, the Squidling is a unique and fun little monster. I did end up painting mine to match my color choices for Ilithids, the out-of-the-box paint job is better than average and ready to go.

What can I say, squidlings are great
These are just such a cool enemy, I think the squidlings are more versatile than the ceremorphs because you'll probably make easy excuses to include them in a mindflayer battle whereas the ceremorphs feel like their own thing entirely. The mini itself is good quality and I recommend getting 2 or 3 for if you get into the combat involving them, though they are actually peaceful by default in frostmaiden

Great addition
Not sure if these guys are introduced in other campaigns but overall these guys are a great addition to your Icewind Dale campaign. The detail is great and paint job is also great. I received 3 of this in my box and only one of them was glued on a little crooked. No big deal though. This will give him character. :)
