Rules & FAQ

Below you will find all instructions, terms and conditions for use of the Miniature Market Buyback System. To ensure your Buyback is processed and paid as quickly as possible, please follow all instructions below. If you have questions regarding the Buyback system that are not answered below, please contact [email protected].


Submitting your Buyback, Approval & Processing Times

After submitting your buyback order, you will receive a confirmation email. Please wait for our approval email before proceeding. Do not ship any items until you receive approval.

Yes, we accept buybacks from international customers! Please note the check option for payment is not available for international customers.

Buybacks are generally approved within 1 business day. However, during peak times, processing time can take 2-3 additional business days.

Miniature Market reserves the right to adjust or refuse any buyback order or any individual items a buyback order contains at our sole discretion.

Minis buyback processing time is 5-10 business days on average. Please note these are estimates and it may take more or less time depending on the amount/size of other buy backs in the queue at the time yours arrives. Weekends are excluded from processing time estimates as our offices are closed.

Minis Grading Policy

We cannot accept promotional versions of minis in place of the pack version. Please check for the "Promo" item specifically on the buyback order sheet.

We don’t purchase minis which are broken, glued back together, customized (this includes stat cards), or with stat cards which are in poor condition. Any minis which arrive in these conditions will be rejected.

Returns

Any items received which are below the condition standards as described above will be rejected

Rejected items will be held for one month from the date of processing. Any rejected items which have not been requested to be sent back by that time will be discarded.

Rejected items may be returned at customer request. Any shipping costs associated with returning those items are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact our support team at [email protected] to set up your items to be returned and for a quote on shipping costs to your location (shipping costs vary by location and weight of items being returned). Payments for return items can be made via credit card, PayPal, or deducted from your buyback payment.

Please note: We do not automatically send back rejected items. So please contact us if you would like your rejected items returned.

Shipping & Packaging Items

Shipping costs for all buyback order submissions are the responsibility of the customer.

We always recommend using a trackable and/or insured method to ship your items. Miniature Market is not responsible for packages or items lost/damaged by postal services.

Any packages which arrive with postage due for insufficient postage or with customs fees applied will have that amount reduced from their final payment total.

Buy Back orders must be mailed within 10 days of approval. Buybacks that are received more than 30 days after the buyback was approved will be rejected.

If you live near eith of our retail stores, or will be passing by, you can drop off your Buyback items rather than ship them. In the event you wish to do this, please make note of this in your submission email. We ask that if you intend to use this option in lieu of shipping your items that you wait until 2 weeks or less before the date you will be dropping the items off to submit your buyback order. Please bring your Buyback# along with your items.

Packing Minis: Figures must be sorted by set with each set in its own labeled bag.

Failure to follow the packing instructions above may result in delayed processing and/or a fee to cover additional time needed for processing. In instances of items arriving in extreme disorganization, rejection of the entire Buyback order may be imposed.

If you are sending your Buyback submission in multiple packages please label your packages “1 of 3”, “2 of 3”, and so on so we know how many packages should be present to processing.

Payments

Store Credit

Your store credit will be paid in the form of an emailed gift certificate code. You can use this code during checkout by entering it in the "Discount Codes and Gift Certificates" box. If you receive an email notifying you that your Buyback has been paid, but do not receive a separate gift certificate email, please check your Spam folder or your Promotions tab/folder to see if it was filtered to one of those areas.

PayPal Payments

If you prefer PayPal for your payment, please include the email address associated with your PayPal account when creating your buyback order. All PayPal payments are subject to PayPal's transaction fees as applicable. Details about these fees can viewed here: PayPal.com

Check Payments

Check payments are available only to domestic customers. Please allow up to 14 days for delivery from the date you receive your payment confirmation email. If you have not received your check within that time frame please contact [email protected]

A payment method must be selected prior to your Buyback being approved.
