Mandala Stones

Mandala Stones is extremely unique when it comes to how the game is played. While it has a fair amount going on with the game, i.e.- Pulling stones from one area to your playing field, just to end up on another board for game scoring. The game feels like you don't quite have as many choices as you would like. We only played a two player game, and the game was quite tight, but I can only imagine how a four player game would turn out. If the starting board with stones was a little bit bigger, with a little bit more movement and choices, the game would play completely different. Overall, a fun enough game. But I'm not sure that there is enough in the game for a lot of replayability.

Rules are a little fiddly, but I just altered the direction I pick up the stones, and makes the game much simpler to teach and play.

Very easy rule to learn how to play. But not simple play to overcome other players. Set up Place random 4 stones stack at each Symbol space. Place 4 artist at designated 4 round spaces. Too much brainburning On my turn Select pick or score. That is it. 1.Pick Move artist marker to empty round space. Take same symbol stones around artist. Stack stones as top and place it at empty space on my board. 2.Score Announce one color or any color One color From left to right top Score designated color top Remove each top stone at each that color stack. Place removed stones on the mandala board. Any color Select any top and then remove each top stone. Get 1 point at each removed stone. Place removed stones on the mandala board. If one player place a stone at end of game space, this game is finished.
